Nomadic, whimsical and ethnically transient, the music of the Sweet Penny Royals leans in the direction of circus-noir gone gypsy. Feast on the roots of the Balkans, Russia, Israel, France, British Isles and more. Primary instrumentation: fiddle, accordion, voice and percussion seasoned with crumhorn, harp, flute, slide whistle, berimbau and egg beater.
